BadgersDen

BadgerDen is a diverse business built on the idea of not keeping all the cubs in one den. We bring together multiple cubs from crafting to writing.

We are also pleased to be a seller of handmade items made by the Knit and Natter group, who meet at the Moments Café in Plymouth and sell their items in aid of supporting the brilliant and successful work of the Memory Hub. Please see below for details.

All Proceeds go to the charity.

The cubs are:-

Quirky Animals Crafting Town, which is a scurry of activity around Knitting, Crotchet, sewing, and woodwork.

HR Stanley is a writer who writes predominantly short stories, from crime to Christian and a blogger who writes light-hearted book reviews.

Moments Café and Memory

Matters Hub

Moments Café is a Social Enterprise Café based in the heart of Plymouth City Centre. They offer a safe environment for people to meet, eat and socialise. All of our profits go towards the Memory Matters Hub. A non-profit social enterprise providing Dementia services across Devon and Cornwall.

In 2024/2025, they delivered Cognitive Stimulation Therapy for 1340 individuals in community rooms across Plymouth and Cornwall, provided advice for 927 individuals through the advice hub, provided food and community for 63173 individuals in the café, and provided spaces for businesses and community enterprises to meet. They supported Next Steps groups in Cornwall and supported carers who so often put their own needs last. They also provided support for individuals with young-onset dementia.

The Café hosts the Knit and Natter group, which provides friendship, laughter, and company, helping individuals feel less isolated and more connected to their community. The Knit and Natter group also raises funds for the café and the Memory Matters hub.

Behind these statistics in this report is a story — a smile returned, a skill rediscovered, a friendship formed.
